Cooking programmes are my guilty pleasure and I would watch them all day everyday if I could, but obviously I can't, so to mix it up a little, I read cook books and recipes when I'm having a break from the TV. I know, some people will find this weird and maybe even boring but I just love it, watching someone create something that just look so delicious is just my favourite thing to do! This is where I also get my inspiration to create and try new flavours and recipes of my own as well as trying to recreate some of the amazing dishes I have seen on TV. If you have never seen a cooking programme, or a programme about food in general, I would definitely recommend it but try not to watch them when you're a little peckish because as I've discovered, this can just make you even more hungry.
I absolutely love looking at, trying and definitely tasting new recipes and thought it would be a good idea to record some of the ones I like so, I created this blog. I'm not a professional chef by any means but I love cooking and baking and love sharing what I have made with my family and friends to see if it tastes any good. I sometimes find however, some recipes can be quite difficult to follow, as many don't have a lot of photographs to demonstrate different steps, so I decided to try as much as I can to make this blog easy and simple to use and follow by including as many photos as I can, especially on quite tricky areas of some recipes. So I hope these are helpful and make some recipes much easier to tackle so even if you are a very novice cook, (we all have to start somewhere) you might give some of these recipes a try!
I hope you enjoy some, if not all, of the recipes I post and I will try and post new and exciting recipes that you hopefully find delicious! I am very new to this whole blogging thing though so I apologise now if everything isn't perfect and my blog doesn't look as professional and snazzy as all the other blogs out there, I'm working on it, I promise!
